  • Details of Disappearance
On 4-27-93, Virginia Pictou Noyes went to Bangor with her husband and two other people. They all got intoxicated and the husband allegedly assaulted Virginia. He was charged with domestic assault and taken to Penobscot County Jail. Virginia was taken to EMMC. She repeatedly told police that she needed to get home to her 5 children in Easton. Virginia left the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor before her checkup was completed. She was last seen walking north through the parking lot of the truck stop. Police detectives believe she made it as far north as Houlton, where she reportedly made phone calls trying to get a ride home. She has not been seen nor heard from since.
