  • Details of Disappearance
Cherice was last seen Sunday, February 21, 2010 in the area of Route 40 and Rolling Road, Cantonsville, Maryland.
Ragins was with her boyfriend, Travis Elleby, near his parents' home where she'd stayed overnight. She never returned to her Northwest Baltimore home on North Rogers Avenue.
Clariese Ragins reported her daughter missing in February 2010, days after the young woman said she was going to visit Elleby and never returned. The mother said it was totally out of character for her daughter to not be in touch with her family.

A graduate of Woodlawn High School, Cherice Ragins loved to read and go to the movies. She had struggled with family issues, including the death of her brother.

In September 2016 her boyfriend, Travis Eugene Elleby, 30, of Windsor Mill, was indicted on a charge of first-degree murder.

Cherice Ragins' body has never been found.
