Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Kristi Richardson disappeared from her east Casper home on October 6, 2014, and has not been seen or heard from since. Her daughter last saw her at around 5:30 p.m. Richardson spoke with a driver from her Richardson Trucking company at 7:45 p.m. that evening, but another driver tried to contact her by telephone at 11 p.m. and that call was not answered. That was unlike her because of her need to be available by phone for truck dispatches.
She was reported missing by her daughter on October 7, 2014, after Kris didn’t show up to work at Richardson Trucking, the business Kris began in 1979 with her late husband. Her vehicle was parked in the garage. All the doors were locked. Richardson’s phone was by her bed where she would have it when she was sleeping. Her purse, with a large amount of cash, identification and keys were in the kitchen. There was no sign of a struggle, but officers were told a garage door opener usually kept in her purse was missing, and they observed stains on the sheets that could possibly be blood or urine.
Police have said they believe Richardson disappeared under “suspicious circumstances.”
