Details of Disappearance
Jennifer Ramsey Rivkin, of Kings Mountain, was last heard from on May 4, 2008 when she left a cell phone message for a friend. No one has been able to reach Rivkin by her cell phone since that call.
She was reported missing after the BMW she was driving was found May 6 at a bar & grill on West Franklin Boulevard, Gastonia.
The sunroof was open and Jennifer's purse and driverís license was still in the car.
There was no indication that Ms. Rivkin had gone into the bar & grill.
Ms. Rivkin was last heard from in a cell phone message she left for a friend on May 4, and friends and family have been unable to reach her on her cell phone.
Police say Rivkin does not have a history of disappearing. Her father said his daughter would never stay gone longer than three days.
Rivkin lived with a friend on the 100 block of Matthew Drive in Kings Mountain part of the time. She would also stay at her parents' home west of Bessemer City at times.
She has previously lived in Nashville. She had cut and styled hair in Bessemer City for years prior, but was not working at the time she went missing.
