Details of Disappearance
Brittany Robinson, 14, has been missing since June 2012. Brittany spent a few days with her father in June and that was the last time anyone saw her.
Four months after Brittany's disappearance authorities arrested her father, Demetric Lemond Hooper, on one count of interfering with child custody. Prosecutors said he failed to return his daughter after his visitation was over. Authorities kept a close eye on Hooper after the disappearance, eventually tracking him to a mental health facility in Arkansas, but did not locate the teen. He initially pleaded not guilty to interfering with child custody. He changed his plea to guilty in August 2014 and a Mobile County Circuit Court Judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison. .
