  • Details of Disappearance
Jimmy Don Robinson was last seen leaving his mothers residence in Elmore City on or about October 1, 1976 with an unidentified male. Robinson said he had to go somewhere but would be back in about a half-hour to check on his laundry.

The green 1974 Toyota Celica that Robinson was driving was later found wrecked and abandoned in Oklahoma City.

Robinson was the oldest of Jimmy Ray and Jora Robinson's six children. He dropped out of high school in the 11th grade and married his high-school sweetheart after she became pregnant, but later got divorced. He joined the Army in 1974 shortly after his father was injured in a car accident. Robinson left the Army after about a year so he could return home and help the family.

At the time of his disappearance he had been working as a car salesman at a Del City dealership and was renting a room in Moore.

The files on his disappearance have been lost over the years.

Foul play is possible. Some sources may list his missing date as September 1st but according to his family it was in fact October 1st.
