Details of Disappearance
On the afternoon of December 17, 2005, Andres Santin picked up his grandson, Nicolas Marcel Santin, from the boy's residence in Steelton, Pennsylvania, for a trip to El Salvador where Andres Santin owns a home. The two were expected to arrive in San Salvador, El Salvador before Christmas and were to return to Pennsylvania by January 7, 2006.
On February 8, 2006, a criminal complaint and federal arrest warrant for Andres Santin were issued by the United States District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, charging him with international parental kidnapping.

both English and Spanish. Santin has ties to the boroughs
of the Bronx and Brooklyn in New York City, and El Salvador.
Known to travel using aliases and false documentation, and
may attempt to obtain a new identity.
