  • Details of Disappearance
Cheryl Kay Seyedin's family recognized she had her problems, but she would call their home in Dayton, Ohio, on holidays and birthdays and they always looked forward to those calls. The last call came just before Thanksgiving in 1998. Seyedin had been living near Ashland since 1994 in a trailer off of Old Highway 99. She had a boyfriend, Steven Martin Mull, and they were known to have a tumultuous relationship. Seyedin had alcohol problems and she was arrested on charges of domestic violence on four different occasions between 1994 and 1998. She was also charged with DUII the year she disappeared. Seyedin was known as a travel er and had many aliases. She had previously lived in Ohio, California and Texas. Police suspect foul play and Steven Mull has remained a person of interest in the case but has never been charged. Seyedin was not reported missing until 1999.
