  • Details of Disappearance
    Smith may have walked off from Heinís veterans home on Green Haven Road in the Town of Beekman on October 3, 2004. He was last seen in the backyard of his residence.

    Investigators searched the area numerous times, on all-terrain vehicles and with canines. They swept a nearby pond, but they didnít find Smith.
