Details of Disappearance
Carmen Annette Sperling, the abducting, non-custodial mother, has been documented as being a danger to her children, Corinna & Sheldon Sperling. She seriously assaulted Sheldon, resulting in his being placed in a foster home for three months. After her son had been returned to her under three months supervision by Social Services, on May 11, 1998 she disappeared with him and his half sister Corinna.

Bites her nails, and often stutters and stammers her
speech. Very high cheek bones and double pierced ears.
She may cut and dye her hair.
