Larry was last seen during the evening hours, around 6:30 p.m., of December 2, 2005. He told his mother he was to go to a basketball game with friends. When it was discovered he hadn't returned the following morning, his parents filed a missing persons report. Larry may have been seen in a 2003 green 4-door Hyundai. His family states that his lack of contact is out of character for him, as he always called home to his parents and his girlfriend.

At the time of his disappearance, Larry Jr. had two warrants out for his arrest. During the course of the investigation, police discovered that he may have been involved in illegal activity. Syracuse Police have followed up on leads indicating that something may have happened to him on the Onondaga Nation territory that he was involved in an altercation and may have met with foul play. He left behind a 2-year-old daughter.
