Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
On January 30, 2003, Tyrone Tackett who resides at 114 Secretariat Place in Hendersonville, Sumner County, Tennessee, reported that his wife, Salena Tackett was missing. She had left the couple’s upscale home in the Bluegrass Downs subdivision with a large sum of money. The two had one young child together and Salena had a young son who was not living with her at the time. An extensive investigation was done without any success in locating Ms. Tackett. Tyrone and Salena had been married for one week when she disappeared. According to officials and neighbors the couple's relationship was sometimes turbulent. Tyrone Tackett moved out of the area with the couple’s daughter soon after his wife’s disappearance.
Tyrone N. Tackett was arrested on July 13, 2011 and charged with solicitation to commit murder. A Sumner County grand jury returned an indictment Tuesday charging former Hendersonville resident Tyrone Tackett with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Salena Tackett.
