  • Details of Disappearance
Toliver was last seen in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on February 4, 2000. His friend told authorities that he dropped Toliver off at the first rest area on Interstate 75 at the Tennessee / Georgia border. All his things were missing, except for his dog, which was found at the house where Toliver had been staying with a friend. When two weeks passed with no word from him, his parents filed a missing persons report. His only income was a $512 per month disability check. About a month after Toliver vanished, someone used his ATM card in Calhoun, Ga., to withdraw $300 from his bank account, leaving another $200 untouched. Toliver has never been heard from again. On Jan. 5, 2000, when Charlie Toliver renewed his driver's license, he gave his address as Glenwood Ave. in Knoxville. But according to his family, he was living with a friend in Clinton. His family suspects foul play.
