Details of Disappearance
Nefertiri Trader was last seen being forced into her silver Acura in the early morning hours of June 30, 2014 outside her home in New Castle, Delaware. She had just returned from the store, where she went to purchase a pack of cigarettes.
The person who forcibly placed Trader in the car is believed to be a man, but no clear description of that person is available. Traderís family believes she might have known the person who took her because she wouldnít have spoken to a stranger that late at night. Her family is unaware of anyone that would want to harm her.
Even though someone witnessed Trader struggling and being forced in to her car, police say they did not receive the first 911 call until almost 17 hours later, when her family first discovered that she was missing.
Her silver 2000 Acura RL with Delaware license plate 404893 has not been found.
Nefertiri is the mother of three and lived with her children, an aunt and a cousin. Thereís been no activity on Traderís bank or credit cards or her social media accounts.
Police have indicated foul play is assumed, but no person of interest or suspect has been named.
Nefertiri was on medical leave from her job at Christiana Hospital at the time.
