  • Details of Disappearance
Christina was last seen at her home in the Berkshire Apartments on Avenue K Southeast in Winter Haven, where she lived alone. The same day Christina went missing she'd asked her apartment manager to have the locks changed in her unit.

She was last seen by a male friend, Charles Pierre-Gilles. Voltaire had dated Charles Pierre-Gilles' brother Dieuseul. Pierre-Gilles said he borrowed Voltaire's car and returned about an hour later to find her gone. He reported Voltaire missing the next day.

Voltaire was apparently last seen in public at IHOP in Winter Haven at 10:30 a.m, when she spoke with a former co-worker. All her belongings, including a laptop, purse, keys and the black robe she was wearing earlier that night, were left behind in the apartment. There were no signs of a struggle inside Voltaire's apartment. Voltaire didn't use social networking websites and didn't have a credit card that would help police trace her.

Christina's father says she would never abandon her Nuclear Medicine studies at Keiser University in Lakeland. She moved to the United States from Haiti as a teen and strived to make a good living so she could bring her mother and siblings there.

Voltaire had a child who died for unknown reasons. Police have speculated that losing her child may have made her depressed.

Nobody has been dismissed as a suspect or person of interest in the case.
