Details of Disappearance
Brenda K. Wallace left a note when she disappeared from her home on April 12, 2012. It said said she had gone to Ohio to live and work and she would send for her truck when she could. But that they could do what they wanted with the rest of her belongings. She took a red backpack, a blue backpack and a set of floral luggage as well as her dog Nicky.
Tom Wallace said his sister was depressed and had been since Harman Becker closed, leaving her unemployed. He said Brenda worked several jobs since then, but that she couldn’t keep a job for long. Her unemployment had finally run out, deepening her frustration, he said. Brenda's family also states she was a drinker and sometimes went on binges. Public record shows a misdemeanor DUI from 2000, but no other run-ins with the law.
