Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
The last time anyone saw Stephanie Anne Warner, 43, was on July 4, 2013, when she and her boyfriend, Lennie Ames, left a convenience store outside Ashland, Oregon before heading to her home in Ruch. The two had been at a 4th of July parade in which Stephanie was seen walking alongside a float she had helped create. She was reported missing four days after that. Relatives who alerted police to the disappearance told officers it's not like Warner to drop out of sight.
Investigators have determined Warner’s green 2003 Nissan Exterra was operated late in the evening on July 4th and into the early morning hours of July 5th. The vehicle was at Warner’s residence at the time she was reported missing. There were no signs of forced entry or foul play in the vehicle or the home.
In July of 2015, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office officially named Ames a suspect in Stephanie's disappearance. Police had considered Ames a person of interest in the case for more than a year prior to officially naming him a suspect. According to police, the information gathered thus far indicates that Warner is deceased and Lennie Ames was responsible for her death. Stephanie's body has not been found.
