Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance
Details of Disappearance
Portia and her granddaughter, Angelica Livingston, were last believed to be in the company of Kenneth Lynch.
On June 10, 2006, Washington and Lynch failed to show up at the automobile dealership where they both worked. Angelica's mother, Theresa Brown, usually talked with her several times a day and repeatedly tried to contact her, unaware that the phone had been turned off. When she went to her mother's apartment, she found it to be empty and her mother and daughter were gone. This was highly unusual and she suspected foul play.U.S. Customs officials caught Lynch onboard a bus in Seattle, Washington, while trying to cross the Canadian border on June 18, 2006. Washington's tan Ford Focus was found abandoned near the Seattle bus station. Police don't think Washington and Angelica ever made it to Washington.
West Columbia Police charged Kenneth Lynch, with two counts of murder in the case. Lynch has not confessed.
