    Nancy Wilcox left her high school to buy a package of gum and never returned.

    Nancy Wilcox was a cheerleader in her junior year at Olympus High School at the time of her disappearance. She was last seen riding with a man in a yellow Volkswagen Bug near her home in Holladay, Utah on the afternoon of October 2, 1974.

    Ted Bundy later confessed to abducting Wilcox and subsequently assaulting and strangling her in a nearby orchard. He said he buried her body near Capitol Reef National Park, some 200+ miles from the site of her abduction.
    Despite extensive efforts, Nancy’s body has never been recovered.
