  • Hair Color: Grey/balding
  • Eye Color: Blue

  • Distinguishing Characteristics: Wears glasses,
    he has dentures but rarely wears them, surgery scar on
    right side of his neck, surgery scars on right leg,
    right leg underdeveloped compared to left due to childhood
    illness (Osteomylitis)causing an obvious limp, brown birthmark
    on back of one of his legs, scar on one of his hands.
  • Medical Conditions:Had a stroke several years ago.
    Balance and ability to walk impaired causing a limp. He takes
    medications for heart problems, angina and panic disorder.
  • Clothing: He tends to wear black velcro tennis shoes,
    denim jeans, plaid colored, short sleeved, western shirts
    with pearl snap buttons.

  • Details of Disappearance
    Walter's sons went to visit hime for Father's Day. They found his van was in driveway, but no answer at the door. They went to next door neighbors who had a set of keys to his home. No sign of Walter was found in the house and he was promptly reported as missing. Authorities returned Mon. June 16, 2008 continued to search to no avail, made arrangements for local VFD and Equusearch to proceed with air, ATV and foot search of the area, however turned up nothing.
